About the Event
We live in an extraordinary moment on Earth. As we experienced in last weekend’s storm and from witnessing the ongoing and unprecedented destruction of environmental, social, and political systems, we can feel overwhelmed or paralyzed by anger, fear and other difficult emotions. How can we remain resilient, creative, and empowered to act for the healing of our world?
This workshop includes processes and tools to:
· connect with people who share similar cares and concerns for our planet
· feel and honour ecological grief
· transform anxiety, grief and anger into courage, creativity and joy
· nourish your capacity to act for positive change
These tools and practices support healing and connection we can rest in and act from, in our desires to be effective allies to both planet and people.
Based on the work of Joanna Macy, this participatory process is based on over four decades of community work with thousands of people around the world. It is designed to help you transform fear, apathy and despair into inspiration, motivation and purposeful action.
